Marimekko Magneettilaukku Messenger Bag

I've been wanting to get a Marimekko bag for the longest time but simply couldnt find the right colour on their usual collections (dark blue, green, yellow, black, white, grey, orange). Very rarely do i stumble upon the sandy brown or greyish blue. But alas! I found this Taupe one on eBay and got it for USD69.98. Its quite a good deal for me. Size? Right. Colour? Right. Price? Right. Awesome rating? Riiiight!

Here it is! (and it isn't even available on the Marimekko website any longer. Can you believe what a steal this was???)

These slightly less commercial (but still pricey) labels only excited me with these few pieces. They look good and I'll bet they fit better, but their price tag$ are a real turner-offer. boo.

This is my favourite ready-to-wear look from Jil Sander.


I like the fact that there's a discreet second layer to the dress. Subtle, stylish and accented in the most cool and unpretentious manner. Like that makes any sense!

SATURDAY is the result of a collaboration between Singaporean designer Nicholas Wong and his assistant designer Daniel Loh. I'm quite impressed by their Fall/Winter Collection 2010. Yes, I'll pay my good friend Emilie who works there a visit soon.I hope they still have stock of these wonderful camel coloured pieces.
